Type Details: SBC costitute a pionneer institution scientific information, which correspondents pattens have been estimated successful in countries of E.E, such for the validity of resources and the system's effectivity, as for the emmediacy which be required for the concilation and its members.
SBC is the only Hellenic Institute member in Health Sciences Libraries Consortium in USA.
The aim of the SBC Institute consists the promotion of his activities in the sectors of information and research.
Specifically, its aim is:
a) the benefit of information and research in the sectors of Biomedicine of Science, Management, Health care management and Chemistry,
b) the collaboration with institutions and Organizations of Interior and Abroad and
c) the Attendance of programs and World congresses that concern the science of information and research in the sectors that the Institute cover.
The concept is to create a new integrated digital environment model for elearning / education support to all European Union citizens.In higher education we will focus on individuals who will follow a field in the Health studies education and the pilot will be implemented in English language but designed in order to support multilingualism. On the basis of converting the learning materials into a unified digital form a better effectiveness is achieved in processing, storage, retrieving, distribution and visualization of the digital learning content (eContent). The digital technology allows easy transition to new perspective learning technologies — eLearning.
