Объявлен конкурс среди малых и средних предприятий на присоединение к интегрированному проекту «Novel approaches to pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune diseases based on new insights into thymus- dependent self-tolerance» (приоритетное направление – «Науки о жизни»).

В 6-й Рамочной программе научных исследований и технологического развития ЕС при планировании крупных проектов типа интегрированных проектов (Integrated projects) и сетей превосходства (Networks of Excellence) может оставаться некий финансовый резерв, который впоследствии, когда проект уже выполняется, распределяется через специальный конкурс — т.н. Competitive Call. Конкурс по привлечению новых исполнителей объявляется самим консорциумом проекта, вся информация публикуется на сайте проекта. Ниже информация о таком конкурсе по проекту, реализуемому в области медицины.

Call announcement:

The LIFESCIHEALTH Integrated project EURO-THYMAIDE has opened a call for an additional partner to join the consortium. The call applies to SME's only.
The EURO-THYMAIDE project aims at understanding the mechanisms underlying the development of autoimmune diseases, by exploring the major biological functions of the thymus. The project seeks a new SME partner for the following research programme:

1. Design of HLA-DQ8 and HLA-DQ2 allele multimers for analysis of type 1 diabetes-related effector and regulatory T cells specific for insulin/IGF-2, GAD and IA-2 derived antigens.
2. Discovery of new MHC class II-restricted antigens involved in other autoimmune diseases for the purpose of designing MHC-II multimers (especially for HLA-DQ8 and HLA-DQ2) incorporating such antigens and the use of such multimers for detecting T cells specific to such antigens.

To ensure the quality of deliverables and milestones, a comprehensive expertise in the above subjects is compulsory.
